SINGTO AND KRIST TEAMGIRL TOUR Part 1

I was supposed to go visit the beach locations of Sotus and Sotus S but i needed more time and courage to travel out of Bangkok alone. I also saw that transportation in those areas is difficult which added to my anxiousness. It would be hard if i get lost because i can't speak Thai and most Thai people can't speak English. Aside from attending events and going to season 1 and 2 places, i had nothing to do so i decided to see if i could go to the places of SK's teamgirl episodes. Thankfully, Gearfansub translated episode 27 and 28 so it was easier to find these places.

I can't speak Thai so i was worried if i could find the places. I made use of google maps and found the places before going there. It was good to find the places first too because even though the places they went to were really close to each other, they didn't show the places in a way that will save time and energy. .

All the places are walking distance from each other. The price of the food items can be found in the episode. I did not put the prices here because i am lazy. All I can say is that most of the items are under 100 baht. I was not able to take pictures of all the food they tried because i am not Mike Chen who can eat so much food. I only tried some of the food they ordered.

TEAM GIRL EPISODE 27- Pak Khlong Talad Flower market

In this episode, Singto was the one that brought them around because the place was near his old school, Suankularb. To go to this area ride the BTS to Saphan Taksin station. Then, walk to the Chao Phraya River Ferry terminal.  Ride the ferry to N6 Memorial Bridge/Saphan Phut terminal. The ferry ride is 15 baht. 

1. Store Namsi-am
At the start of Teamgirl episode 27, Esther and Mook went to meet Singto in a shop with lots of mangas/books. This is that store. It is approximately 4 minutes away from the terminal. It is near Wat Liap Post office. On the left side of the post office, Store Namsi-an is the third stall. If you want to ride the grab, I suggest pinning Wat Liap Post office ^^

When I got there, I immediately took photos. One thing i noticed is the door going to the manga/book store was closed. I asked the lady but she said its closed and I cannot enter.

2. Statue of King Rama I

A few meters away from Store Namsi-Am is the place where they did the last part of the episode, Statue of King Rama I.

3. Wat Leab Pork Noodle

This shop can be found in Wat Rajaburana entrance in Triphet rd. It is approximately 3 minutes walk from Statue of King Rama I. It is open on Mondays-Fridays from 6am-12pm.

They ate:

A. Soft Boiled Pork
B. Thai Style Pork Noodles

4. Somjai Books and Stationary

They showed this one after the Wat Leab Pork Noodle. Krist and Mook did drum major stuff LOL

5. Roti Na Po Chang

The nearest one to Somjai Books and Stationary is Roti Na Pochang. Krist and Singto made some Roti here without washing their hands. It is open Monday to Saturdays 10am to 5:30pm

They ate:
A. Crispy Roti with condensed milk and sugar
B. Soft and Thick Roti
C. Roti with Egg

While looking for this place, I suddenly ended up at Sweet. After eating at Sweet, I walked back and forth from the bookstore and Sweet but really couldn't find it. I asked one street seller and she pointed to a closed place. I went on a Tuesday so it was supposed to be open. I couldn't understand if it was closed that time or it is forever closed ToT

6. Sweet

It's next door Roti na Po Chang. LOL. This is also the restaurant in Singto's episode of High School reunion. It's open everyday from 6am to 8pm. 

They ate:

A. Tuna Salad

B. Pork Steak

C. Grilled Pork

I wanted to go inside so i ordered some tuna salad.

7. Pop Drink Pahurad

This is the place where they met Krist at the start of Teamgirl. Singto said it is the first pop drink store in Thailand. To go here from Sweets just walk forward away from the direction of Roti na Po Chang. The store is in the front of an alley to the right. 

Singto got Sarsi. Mook got green banana. Esther got Apple. Idk what Krist got but it was green too.

8. New Chu Ros Pochana

From the Pop drink store, enter the alley and in less than aminute will find New Chu Ros Pochana on the left side. It's open everyday from 9am to 4pm.

They ate:
A. Old style coconut milk Ice cream
B. Tom Yam Noodles
C. Pink Flat Noodles

I didn't eat here because they didn't have the ice cream. To be fair, they might not have understood when i asked for the ice cream because of language barriers.

8. Ko Jo Hua / Khwo Chua Huat Khao Kha Mu Restaurant

This one is the hardest to find in all the places they went to. Luckily, it has a pin but it is under a different spelling/name. Good thing their food item is very different to other restaurants. It's open every Mondays to Saturdays  8am to 3pm.

The pin should have started at the black circle :p

Another way to get to this place faster is use Phahurat Road then turn to Burapha road and last turn to Phirapong alley. I think that would be faster than going around Old Siam Shopping Plaza.

They ate:
A. Lemon Tea
B. Stewed Pork Hock in rice
C. Duck Noodle

IDK why it was closed ToT. There was something written in front but I dont understand it.

Update:
I came back to roti na pochang and my Thai friend said that it was closed for a month. We just don't know when it will open again.

When i came back to Ko Jo Hua, it was open and i was able to take some pics.

I didn't edit them anymore tho. Hope no one takes this pictures out of the blog without credits. Thanks!
